Hi I'm Brent
Brent Hickman is a motivational speaker, writer and all around encourager. This is all done with his mother Patty and despite his many limitations such as left side aphasia and partial blindness. His face has a perpetual smile and he's forever saying, “Praise God!” and “Hallelujah!” It's nearly impossible to be unhappy around Brent, who is obviously seeing life though a different set of standards than the rest of the world. In Brent’s world, success is measured by how happy he can make people.
Our Mission
Patty McKee and Brent Hickman are a mother and son team who have learned firsthand how to make lemonade out of life’s lemons. Brent considers himself a perfect example of what not to do and wants to help others see how much sweeter life can be living according to the rules. Patty is happy to play “Aaron” to Brent’s “Moses,” traveling with him to speak at schools and events together. Brent is anxious to share his joy for life and some tips for the road ahead.
